CONACK NEWS
DIY SOS Ireland 2026 Completion

Conack has proudly completed its involvement in DIY SOS Ireland 2026, marking the end of a remarkable community-led construction project in Westbury. Over nine days, an incredible 1,009 volunteers came together to transform a three-bedroom semi-detached home.
The scale of the project and the commitment shown by everyone involved made this a truly special experience.
A Powerful Community Effort
DIY SOS Ireland 2026 demonstrated what can be achieved when communities, trades and industry professionals work together. Volunteers, suppliers and contractors contributed their time, skills and resources to deliver a project with real impact.
The build progressed at an impressive pace, with strong coordination and teamwork evident throughout. Each day brought visible progress and reinforced the shared purpose across the site.
Supporting Carter Purcell and His Family
At the heart of DIY SOS Ireland 2026 was the opportunity to support Carter Purcell and his family. The project focused on delivering life-changing home adaptations designed to improve comfort, accessibility and quality of life.
Every contribution on site played a part in achieving this outcome. The finished home reflects the care and dedication shown by all involved.
Recognising a Team Effort
Conack was proud to contribute to the delivery of DIY SOS Ireland 2026 alongside an exceptional group of volunteers and partners. We would also like to recognise Kaspars Pupols and David Bowles for representing Conack on site and contributing throughout the build.
