Wellbeing Session at Greenpark with The Lighthouse Charity

Conack recently welcomed the Lighthouse Charity Greenpark team to our Greenpark project in Limerick for an engaging mental health and wellbeing session. The visit gave our workforce the opportunity to reflect on wellbeing, support and the importance of open conversations across the construction industry.

Everyone on site engaged positively with the session. The discussion encouraged participation and generated valuable feedback throughout the morning.

Promoting Positive Wellbeing

Mental health is an essential part of creating safe and supportive workplaces. Sessions like this encourage people to speak openly, recognise when support may be needed and understand the resources available within the construction industry.

In addition, these conversations help reduce stigma. They also reinforce the message that nobody has to face challenges alone.

Supporting Our Workforce

The session highlighted the importance of looking after ourselves and supporting our colleagues. It also demonstrated how simple conversations can have a lasting impact on wellbeing.

At Conack, we believe protecting the wellbeing of our people is just as important as maintaining the highest standards of health and safety. Therefore, we continue to support initiatives that strengthen our positive site culture and promote healthier workplaces.

Thank You to Lighthouse Charity

We sincerely thank the Lighthouse Charity team for visiting our Greenpark project and delivering such an insightful session. Their continued work provides invaluable support to construction workers and their families across Ireland and the UK.
