Conack was delighted to welcome the Lighthouse Charity Galway West team to our Galway West Primary Care Centre project. The visit included an engaging wellbeing session for the project team.

The session highlighted the free and confidential support available across the construction industry. It also encouraged open conversations about mental health and wellbeing.

Supporting Wellbeing on Site

Creating a safe workplace involves more than physical safety. Therefore, positive mental health remains an important part of our site culture.

The Lighthouse Charity team explained the services available to construction workers and their families. In addition, they reminded everyone that support is always available.

These sessions help raise awareness and reduce stigma. They also encourage people to look after themselves and support their colleagues.

Bringing the Team Together

The warm weather created a welcome opportunity for the team to take a break together. Ice creams were also available for everyone on site.

As a result, the session combined important wellbeing information with a relaxed and positive team moment. Small gestures like these can strengthen relationships and support open conversation.
