Conack is delighted to see the Dexcom Stadium awards 2026 recognition continue. The redevelopment has been shortlisted at the Irish Construction Industry Awards for Contractor Tourism & Hospitality Project of the Year.

This is a fantastic achievement for everyone involved in bringing this landmark Galway project to life.

Recognition for a Landmark Galway Project

The Dexcom Stadium redevelopment represents a major investment in sporting infrastructure in the west of Ireland. Conack delivered the project for Connacht Rugby.

The development included the new North Stand and High Performance Centre. It also included associated site and enabling works.

Together, these elements transformed the stadium and created improved facilities for players, supporters and the wider rugby community.

Collaboration Across the Project

Strong collaboration was central to the success of the project. From planning through to completion, the team worked closely together to deliver a high-quality result.

As a result, this shortlist reflects the contribution of everyone involved.
