Completion at Colbert Station in Limerick

Colbert Station Limerick Redevelopment Delivers Major Infrastructure Improvements
Conack is proud to have completed the comprehensive redevelopment of Colbert Station Limerick, a key public transport hub in the Mid-West. This project involved the demolition of outdated concourse structures and the construction of a new bus bay to support a fleet of 20 electric buses—supporting Ireland’s transition to more sustainable, low-emission transport.
The redevelopment also included the delivery of:
New offices and staff facilities
Modern public toilets for improved passenger comfort
Three retail units (one in the new build and two in the existing station)
A new car park with 326 vehicle spaces
Secure bicycle storage with capacity for 264 bikes
All necessary mechanical and electrical plant and equipment
The Colbert Station Limerick project has greatly enhanced the functionality, safety, and user experience of this vital transport facility. Designed to meet modern standards while improving commuter access, this upgrade reflects Conack’s commitment to sustainable infrastructure and long-term value for the community.
We are proud to have delivered this high-quality public project that supports cleaner transport, increased accessibility, and better services for the people of Limerick and beyond.
