Project Description
This project for St. Camillus Hospital consisted of the upgrade to sanitary facilities and extension to the Sarsfield Ward, along with the reconfiguration and upgrading works to Sarsfield, Shannon & Abbey Wards. During this project works were phased to allow for the nursing home facilities to remain fully operational during construction.
The works included four wards refurbishment, redevelopment of the existing building to turn-key standards to meet the current building regulations.
The project included the construction of new nurses stations with all fitted furniture completed to HSE standards, demolitions of 600mm thick rubble stone walls and associated propping, construction of new wet-rooms/en-suite facilities to wards including new sanitaryware to existing bathrooms and the installation of epoxy resin flooring to HSE standards.
